APW

Already hailed as an "R&B Powerhouse" by BBC, NOCTIS, and CLOUT, APW is a dynamic songwriter and vocalist with a stratospheric range and razor-sharp lyrical honesty. Their music blends smooth R&B, pop, and soul with lush harmonies, jazzy guitar melodies, and grooving basslines—crafting a signature sound that’s undeniable.

A captivating live performer, APW has lit up iconic venues like The London Palladium, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and The Jazz Café. A fixture in London’s music scene, they’ve also brought their electrifying presence to Lafayette, Soho House, The Ned & beyond.

Hailing from Manchester, this queer, working-class artist grew up immersed in the sounds of Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, and Donna Summer— a foundation that fuels their bold, genre-blurring artistry.

Totally transparent and genuine. His distinctive tone and agile vocals, and their ability to relate to total strangers will undoubtedly be key in APW’s journey to the top.

SOUNDS QUEER

Straddling the void between Live Music and Queer Nightlife, Sounds Queer was founded in early 2022 to champion diverse voices and sounds from the LGBTQIA+ community, whilst providing a safe space for audiences within it. Despite London being a cultural hub for both music and the queer community, there are little to no live music organisations whose priority is to provide a platform for queer live artists. In addition, there is a lack of truly inclusive events, gigs or venues for emerging music that cater to the community's specific needs. Sounds Queer works with organisations and businesses to support and champion queer artists and their stories, through live events, programming, takeovers and panel discussions. In turn, their work has been supported by the likes of The Royal Albert Hall, The Roundhouse and Mighty Hoopla.
