Our Summer in the Park Picnics are intended to be social gatherings with entertainment suitable for all of the family. There will be a main stage area plus other tents and stalls featuring local community groups and family activities such as games, crafts or tombolas. Many of the acts on the main stage will be repeated so you can drop by at a time convenient throughout the day. They are relaxed and informal, you do not need a ticket and will not be expected to be quiet or be seated. Applause for the performers is always welcome!

This event takes place outdoors and as we can’t rely on the British weather to be kind to us all of the time, we suggest following us on Twitter or Instagram to find out the latest news on our wet weather plans.

Feel free to bring your own refreshments. An ice cream van will be on site selling Mr Whippy, cold drinks and ice lollies.
