Unicorn Frequency is a fiery ensemble of international jazz, classical and traditional musicians from across Europe with glowing international careers on guitar, accordion, double bass and percussion. The band is led by Romanian founder-violinist Bogdan Vacarescu. "his technical mastery made it sound as if there were at least two fiddlers.” The Scotsman.

Their cynosure is in the brilliant performance of undiscovered music, reviving and reinterpreting Hungarian folk, Romanian laments and showpieces, Bulgarian dances, Russian gypsy gems, Italian pizzicas and tarantellas and Griko tunes, to masterpieces from the classical repertoire, free improvisation and jazz.
